Download Skype for Pocket PC 2.1.0.53 beta

Although the vast majority of updates to Skype are for the Windows platform, most people know that this software is also available for Linux and Mac OS X. Less known, however, is the version for the PocketPC. A few days ago a new beta release was released with version number 2.1.0.53. Before it can be installed, the old version must first be removed. A list of supported PDAs can be found on this page are being found. The changelog for this release shows the following changes:

• Call duration is only in minutes:seconds.
• Search enabled while offline.
• ‘Hold’ is enabled, when the call is already on hold.
