Skype has released version 5.8 of its voip client for Mac OS X. Where Skype used to seem to only pay attention to the Windows version, the Mac OS X version is getting just as much attention these days. For example, video conferencing with up to ten people is possible and text messages can be sent to contacts who are not online. New in version 5.8 is, among other things, that video coming from mobile devices is automatically rotated. Furthermore, the contacts list can be resized and the program is all set for the upcoming version of Mac OS X Mountain Lion. The full changelog for this release can be found below.
