Download Skype for Mac 5.4.0.1217 Beta

Skype has released the first beta release of version 5.4 of its voip client for Mac OS X. About a year ago, Skype started putting a little more effort into developing the Mac OS X client, which until then was quite behind the Windows version. Video conferencing with up to ten people is now possible and text messages can be sent to contacts who are not online. In version 5.4, the integration with Facebook has been added and Skype Home is also introduced. The full changelog of this release looks like this:
