Download Skype for Mac 5.3.0.1074

Skype has released an update to version 5.3 of its voip client for Mac OS X. Last November, the version number was aligned with that of Windows and a jump was made from 2.8 to 5.0. It also resembles the Windows version more in terms of appearance and possibilities. For example, video conferencing with up to ten people is possible and text messages can be sent to contacts who are not online. Skype for Mac requires at least Mac OS X 10.5.6 and the download is just over 20MB in size. The changelog for version 5.3.0.1074 looks like this:
