Download Skype for Mac 5.1.0.914
Skype has released a new version of its VoIP client for Mac OS X. Not so long ago, the version number was aligned with that of Windows and a jump was made from 2.8 to 5.0. It also resembles the Windows version more in terms of appearance and possibilities. For example, there is video conferencing with up to ten people and text messages can be sent to contacts who are not online. Skype for Mac requires at least Mac OS X 10.5.6 and the download is just over 20MB in size. The changelog for this release looks like this:

- Sharing: Screen sharing does not start after first use during call
