PrinsEdje80 has a new beta version on the Skype site spotted from Skype for Linux. The new release is version numbered 1.3.0.37 beta and is available from this page for various Linux distributions. Like the other ‘Skype for’ variants, the Linux version also allows you to call other users via Voice-over-IP, or to send messages back and forth with others via instant messaging. It is also possible to call fixed and mobile telephone numbers at a certain rate. Version 1.3.0.37 beta comes with a smaller changelog than the previous release, nevertheless the necessary bugs have been removed and changes have also been made in the new version.
