Like the other ‘Skype for’ variants, the Linux version also allows you to call other users via Voice-over-IP, or to send messages back and forth with others via instant messaging. It is also possible to call fixed and mobile telephone numbers at a certain rate. Version 1.3.0.37 beta comes with a smaller changelog than the previous release, nevertheless the necessary bugs have been removed and changes have also been made in the new version.
