Download Skype 1.3.0.41 beta

Skype has released yet another beta release of the Windows version of its VoIP program of the same name. The version number has come out at 1.3.0.41 beta and the program can be launched from here are downloaded. Skype allows you to talk to other users of this program for free. A subscription can also be taken (SkypeOut), so that calls to fixed, mobile and foreign numbers are possible. We don’t see any major changes in this release, an indication that 1.3 final is unlikely to be long in coming. The changelog looks like this:

• removed redundant quotes in Send Contacts dialog
• access violations when launching Skype in some languages
