Download Skype 1.2.0.32 beta

Skype has released a new version of the eponymous VoIP program for the Windows platform. It concerns version 1.2.0.32 beta and it is available from here be downloaded. The changelog of this release shows the following changes:

feature:

• SkypeIn privacy options
• Option to automatically close ft window when transfer is complete

change:

• reversed pending authorization requests order on start-tab
• contact-came-online sound-alerts are disabled by default

bug fix:

• having more than 255 contacts caused crashes
• microphone boost was automatically disabled during Skype startup
• Startup splash text was broken in German
• edit profile: Scan line index out of range
• ‘&’ was escaped in recent- and bookmarked chat menus
• invalid handling of SkypeOut number when redialing from failed call tab
• too long avatar file names did not fit to avatar browser
• search results: ordering by birth date did not work on rare cases
• do not display voicemail left time during Voicemail upload state
• additional checks against adding too many participants to the conference (resulted in range check errors)
