Download Skype 1.1.0.47 beta
A new beta version of the 1.1 family of the eponymous VoIP program for the Windows platform has been released on the Skype website. The update has been given version number 1.1.0.47 beta and is exactly five and a half MB in size. With Skype it is possible to call other users of this program for free. It is also possible to call fixed or mobile phone users for a minimal fee. In this release, memory and processor usage have been reduced, among other things, and the necessary bugs have been fixed.
