Gabriel Topala released version 1.67 build 625 of SIW yesterday. SIW is an abbreviation for System Information for Windows and that is exactly what the program does: provide comprehensive information about a Windows PC. This does not only affect the hardware present in the PC, but also the software, the running processes and services, and the network. The program fits easily on an old-fashioned floppy disk and does not need to be installed to do its job. Gabriel Topala’s website is currently down, so we can’t tell you what’s changed in this release.
