Download SharpDevelop 1.0.1.1649

SharpDevelop, or #develop for short, is an open source IDE (Integrated Development Environment) for C# and VB.NET projects running on Microsoft’s .NET platform. It has many features and the fact that it’s free makes it a good alternative to expensive IDEs like VS.NET. A few days ago, the developers behind #develop released the planned maintenance release with version number 1.0.1.1649 and both the source code if it program themselves can be downloaded from the Source Forge servers. The changelog looks like this:

• Setup: GAC registration / deregistration now handled properly
• Setup: User settings are no longer removed on uninstall (starting with 1.0.1)
