Download Shareaza 2.5.1.0

The Shareaza Development Team released version 2.5.1.0 of its eponymous p2p file sharing program last week. Shareaza allows files to be shared across Edonkey2000, Gnutella, Gnutella2, and Bittorrent networks. This update comes a little over a year after version 2.4.0.0 and contains mostly bug fixes. Since the version was released on October 31, it starts with a special Halloween skin, which fortunately can be easily turned off. Version 2.5.1.0 contains a large number of bug fixes and because the program now uses the SSE instruction set, support for older processors has been dropped:

Shareaza 2.5.1.0 contains many bug fixes. Shareaza now requires at least an Intel Pentium III or AMD Athlon XP processor because version 2.5.1.0 takes advantage of Streaming SIMD Extensions (SSE).
