The Shareaza Development Team has just released a new beta release of its eponymous p2p file sharing program in the form of version 2.2.5.0. Shareaza allows file sharing across EDonkey2000, Gnutella, Gnutella2, and BitTorrent networks. The program has been tinkered with for a long time and the complete changelog is therefore long. This is another bug fix release.

• Connecting to Gnutella should be easier now thanks to UHC support.
• Several fixes for BitTorrent automatic seeding.
• Support for ed2k transfers greater than 4GB.
• UPnP should work for more routers now and work more reliably.
• Several memory leaks have been plugged.
• You can now choose to search a set of networks rather than just one or all.
