The distributed computing project Seventeen or Bust, with the help of computer users around the world, is trying to make the smallest Sierpiński number to prove. Over the years, most values have been excluded, but seventeen values remained. That’s why Seventeen or Bust was founded to check the remaining values. To date, eleven of the seventeen values have already been excluded, but the remaining six values have not yet been proven. The developers released a new version of the client a few days ago that runs on the well-known client of Gimps is based. The version number has now reached 26.3. The following announcement tells all about this new release:
