Server2Go is a collection of software compiled to run as a local web server from a CD. The CD’s autorun will launch the necessary software on the Windows system and open a browser window with the web page contained on the CD. It uses PHP5, SQLite, MySQL and Apache HTTP Server, among others. The developers have released version 1.0.1 with the following changes:

Version 1.0.1:

• Improved InnoDb support for MySQL (take a look at the FAQ)
• Update to PHP 5.1.2
• Update to Apache 1.3.34
• Fixing some smaller bugs and changes

Version 1.0.0:

• Server2Go should now run under most Windows98 configurations too (take a look at the FAQ)
• Changed apache configuration, so CGI (Perl) is handled better now
• Fixing some smaller bugs and changes

Version 0.9.11:

• LocalMirror is now 0 by default
• Changed apache configuration, so .htaccess file are now recognized correctly
• Changed apache configuration, so index.html and index.htm are default files too
• phpMyAdmin is included for managing the MySql databases
• Fixing the problem, that all databases are overwritten, even if OverwriteDatabase is 0
• Fixing the problem, that multi-level folders weren’t created
• Changing the folder handling for database mirroring and temp files
• Fixing bug: SQLite wasn’t usable with the last version (PHP 5.1.1)
• The %CDPMS:*% replacement-tags will be process in all config files now (httpd.conf, my.ini, php.ini)
• Fixing bug with mysql port autodetection
• Please take care! The config ini entries changed, so update existing configurations too

Version 0.9.10:

• Updated PHP to V.5.1.1
• Fixing bug: There was an error if starting server2go with UseMySQL=1 and no mysql is in the server folder
• Fixing a bug on the GDLib example page
• New application icon
• You can now insert placeholders for system directories in every path in the config file. Check documentation for the possibilities
