Download SecureCRT 7.2.1
VanDyke Software has released the first update for version 7.2 of SecureCRT. SecureCRT is, simply put, a extensive version of Putty. Slightly less simple it is a client for remote control, file transfers and data tunneling using ssh. Ssh is a method of establishing a secure connection between two computers, in which both the data and part of the IP traffic is encrypted. SecureCRT is available for Windows, Linux, and OS X, and the price of a license starts at one hundred dollars. In version 7.2.1 the following issues have been fixed:
Bug fixes:
- SecureCRT hung when a Python script tried to disconnect a session that had the “Close on disconnect” option set.
- When multiple sessions were selected in the Connect dialog or session manager using the SHIFT or CONTROL keys, sessions could incorrectly be unselected.
- Mac: If an incorrect password was saved in the keychain, it was not possible to save the correct password when using keyboard interactive authentication.
