Download ScummVM 0.13.0
Saturday version 0.13.0 of ScummVM was released. This program is a cross-platform interpreter for a number of point-and-click adventure engines, especially those made with LucasArts’ Scumm engine. In this way it is possible to play classics such as Simon the Sorcerer, Beneath A Steel Sky, Monkey Island, Day of the Tentacle and Sam and Max on Windows, the PSP, AmigaOS 4, Dreamcast, Pocketpc, PalmOS, BeOS, various mobile devices running on Symbian and even the iPhone. This release includes support for The 7th Guest and Bud Tucker in Double Trouble, as well as a new interface from which most games can be loaded immediately. - Added MIDI driver for Atari ST / FreeMint.
- Added a ‘Load’ button to the Launcher (not supported by all engines).
- Added a new global main menu (GMM) dialog usable from all engines.
- Added the ability to return to the launcher from running games (via the GMM).
- Rewrote GUI renderer to use a vector based approach.
- Reroot GUI configuration to use XML.
