Scribus is an open source desktop publishing program. The program can be used to format and edit documents for printing, among other things, which can then be saved as a PDF or postscript document. on this page an overview of the various possibilities of this program can be found. Version 1.4.2 includes a new spell checker, which is now the same on all supported platforms. This is based on Hunspell, which is also used by LibreOffice, for example. Furthermore, 64-bit versions are also available for Windows for the first time.
