Download Sandboxie 5.31.4

Version 5.31.4 of Sandboxie has been released. With this program it is possible to run programs under Windows in a protected environment. That way, changes made by programs like Internet Explorer are easy to undo. In addition, there is no risk that important parts of the operating system will be affected. Sandboxie can be used on Windows 7, 8 and 10, and as of this version is no longer shareware, but freeware. Sophos, the current owner, even plans to offer it as open source in due course.

Changes in version 5.31.4:

• Removed license check and activation requirements.
• Fix IE download issues on Windows 7 and 10
• Fix IE download issues (and some file rename failures) on Windows 10 Spring 2019
