Download Sandboxie 4.20

Version 4.20 of Sandboxie has been released. With this program it is possible to run programs under Windows in a protected environment. That way, changes made by programs like Internet Explorer are easy to undo. In addition, there is no risk that important parts of the operating system will be affected. Sandboxie can be used on Windows XP and higher, and a one-year license costs 17.85 euros. The lifetime license is no longer offered. Version 4.18 brings the following changes and improvements:

Version 4.20

• Fixed SBIE2205 Service not implemented: CloseClipboard C0000058 error caused by Windows update KB3057839
• NtGetNextProcess can be used to alter processes outside the sandbox and will now be blocked.
• A DDE change in 4.18 broke Excel running as a forced program.
• Clipboard formats that were restricted in 4.18 are supported again.
• MS Office applications are again able to print to file inside the sandbox without errors
