Download Sandboxie 3.48

Version 3.48 of Sandboxie was released on Monday. With this program it is possible to run other programs under Windows in a protected environment. In this way, changes made by programs such as Internet Explorer can be easily undone, and there is no risk of affecting important parts of the operating system. Sandboxie can be used on Windows 2000 and above; a lifetime license costs 31 euros. Version 3.46 contains only one change and that concerns the way the registration of the program works.

Version 3.48 introduces new Product Keys to replace old Registration Keys, and requires periodic online activation of Product Key. Online Product Activation is not designed to circumvent the terms of the license, those terms remain the same as ever. For more information, please see FAQ Licensing.
