Download Samba 3.4.17/3.5.15/3.6.5
Last week, new versions of Samba were released from the 3.4, 3.5 and 3.6 development branch. This program runs on Unix, BSD and Linux servers, and is an open source implementation of the SMB/CIFSnetwork protocol. Since version 3, Samba can provide file and print services to Windows clients, and is able to act as a Domain Controller. Samba 3.6.5, 3.5.15 and 3.4.17 Security Releases
These are security releases in order to address CVE-2012-2111 (Samba 3.4.x to 3.6.4 are affected by a vulnerability that allows arbitrary users to modify privileges on a file server.).
The uncompressed tarballs and patch files have been signed using GnuPG (ID 6568B7EA).
