Download SABnzbd 0.7.0 RC2

After eight beta releases, we have now entered the release candidate path for SABnzbd version 0.7.0. With this program files from usenet can be downloaded. The open source application is available for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X. The program offers the possibility to load nzb files, after which the correct files are picked from usenet. With the built-in web interface it is possible to operate the program via a web browser.

New in version 0.7.0 includes the ability to set download quotas. In addition, under Windows an icon is now displayed in the system tray, the Growl notification program is no longer only supported on Mac OS X, but on all platforms and there is an experimental option that can check whether all files of a download are actually present. . Since beta 8, the following improvements have also been made:

Specific issues solved in RC1/RC2:

• Suppress permission errors on paths containing “.AppleDouble” or “.DS_Store” (Required for NAS systems that support Apple AFP shares)
• OSX/Windows: Set article cache to 200M when not already set. NOTE: if you do not want a cache: set it to 0
• Pre-check: lower default minimum completion rate to 100.2% NOTE: as a current Beta user, you’ll need to change this yourself!
• Pre-check: required ratio for NZB without par2 files should be 100% and not the “safe” ratio
• Fix for rare crash in par2 fetching
• Another .nomedia fix
• Quota reset wasn’t done when quota-reset-time was passed while SABnzbd wasn’t running
