Download Rufus 2.6.818
Version 2.6 of Rufus has been released. Rufus is a Windows program that can be used to create self-starting USB sticks. Useful, for example, to install an operating system, which is faster from a USB stick than from a CD or DVD, to update the bios or to access a system that no longer wants to start. Incidentally, there are a large number of tools with which this can be done, but Rufus claims to be one of the fastest of its kind. The following changes and improvements have been made in this release:
Changes in version 2.6
- Add Serbian (Latin) translation
- Add a cheat mode to zero a device (Alt-Z)
- Fix dual BIOS/UEFI mode not being disabled once enabled (Alt-E)
- Fix a crash when Syslinux downloaded files are modified by a firewall
- Fix FAT32 not being disabled for Windows ISOs in BIOS/CSM mode
- Additional translation updates
