Download Rufus 2.4.757
Version 2.4 of Rufus has been released. Rufus is a Windows program that can be used to create self-starting USB sticks. Useful, for example, to install an operating system, which is faster from a USB stick than from a CD or DVD, to update the bios or to access a system that no longer wants to start. Incidentally, there are a large number of tools with which this can be done, but Rufus claims to be one of the fastest of its kind. The following changes and improvements have been made in this release:
Changes in version 2.4
- Allow some settings and cheat modes to be persisted between sessions
- Fix multiple issues with flash drive detection
- Fix listing of drives that contain no media
- Fix cheat mode to save the current USB to uncompressed VHD (Alt-V)
- Fix an UI scaling issue with high DPI displays for non English languages
- Update most of the translations
- Additional cosmetic improvements
