Download Rufus 1.4.9
Version 1.4.9 of Rufus has been released. Rufus is a Windows program that can be used to create self-starting USB sticks. Useful, for example, to install an operating system – which is faster from a USB stick than from a CD or DVD – or to update the bios or to access a system that no longer wants to start. Incidentally, there are a large number of tools with which this can be done, but Rufus claims to be one of the fastest of its kind. This release fixes a problem with displaying connected USB sticks under Windows XP and Vista.
