Download RSSOwl 2.0 Milestone 9

The RSSOwl program can retrieve the latest news from various RSS, RDF and Atom feeds over the Internet. Searching for news items is done via the search function and thanks to the tabbed interface you can keep an overview of all the news on offer. The developer has restarted development for RSSOwl 2.0 and has chosen to use the Eclipse Rich Client Platform to use as a substrate. As a result, RSSOwl can be used as a standalone program or as an extension of eclipse being used. The developer has released the ninth Milestone of RSSOwl 2.0 and provided it with the following announcement:

We are happy to announce that the next milestone of RSSOwl 2.0 is now available for download. This release comes with some very cool features:

• Support for Phrase Searches
• Improved Notifier
• Multi Tabbed Browsing
• Improved and secured embedded browser
• Secure credentials with a master password
• Automatically detect proxy settings (Windows)
• a total of 107 bugs fixed
