OpenText has released RightFax 10.6 Feature Pack 2 Service Release 1 with the following announcement:

New Features:

• New Tab for Office and HTML Conversions
  To fine-tune the quality of Office and HTML conversions, open Enterprise Fax Manager (EFM) and select any of the following check boxes on the Office and HTML tab in Conversion Engine Configuration:
  • High Contrast. To improve legibility by darkening all grayscale.
  • Convert All Text as Black. To render all text as black.
  • Optimize for Images (slower). To improve the quality of images by enlarging the document to 600 dpi before downscaling it to the selected fax resolution.

Issues fixed in this release:

• RF-12329 Conversion Engine – A4-sized Excel spreadsheets do not convert as expected.
• RF-13308 Conversion Engine – Embedded .PNG images do not appear in converted .DOC files.
• RF-13779 Conversion Engine – Poor image quality of RTF-to-fax conversions.
• RF-13786 Conversion Engine – Customized automation printer settings are lost when the Conversion Engine is restarted.
• RF-12540, RF-13029 DocTransport – Faxes sent with call grouping exceed the maximum number of pages defined in DocTransport.
• RF-13566 DocTransport – First character of long company names are truncated along with trailing characters when using UseCompanyForCSID registry entry.
• RF-13666 DocTransport – Faxes received through RightFax Connect show the end of transmission time instead of the start of transmission.
• RF-13732 DocTransport – When using LCR, RightFax Connect faxes do not show the JOBID until the fax is complete.
• RF-13733 DocTransport – When using LCR, RightFax Connect fax status does not update if the sending server goes offline.
• RF-13809 DocTransport – Remote DocTransport stops after the corresponding application server goes down for more than 30 minutes.
• RF-12320 Enterprise Fax Manager – Outbound auto-print of faxes that cannot be scheduled does not work.
• RF-13384 Enterprise Fax Manager – Test SMS button in Pager Notifications tab does not work.
• RF-14020 FaxCtrl – The NOTE embedded code fails to add note text to the coversheet when printing to the HPFax printer.
• RF-13610 Paging Service – Paging server crashes when processing SMTP alerts.
• RF-13345 PostScript – When receiving Searchable PDFs to a network directory or email, text on landscape pages is not searchable.
• RF-13672 Production – Integration Module does not generate notifications about conversion errors.
• RF-13907 Production – Integration Module does not generate the expected information when macro ~6 for custom messages is used.
• RF-13695 Product Licensing Utility – PLU crashes when activating after installing RightFax 10.6 FP1 SR3.
• RF-13208 SAP Gateway – User’s notification method is not used when sending faxes via SAP Gateway.
• RF-13901 SAP Gateway – SAP Gateway crashes after a notification work request fails.
• RF-13438 SMTP Gateway – An extra page is created when attaching documents when using Office 365.
• RF-13670 Web Client – When delegate permissions are set at the group level, searching for faxes among delegate accounts does not work.
• RF-13898 Web Client – Message that appears when the maximum number of Web Client connections is exceededis not clear.
• RF-13939 WebUtil – WebUtil phonebook Boolean search is inconsistent.
• RF-13017 WorkServer – Poor image quality of PCL-to-fax conversions.
• RF-13825 WorkServer – Problem converting fax body when sending a fax with Create PDF Image selected.
