Piriform has released version 1.36.479 of Recuva. The name of the program is an alternative spelling for the English word ‘recover’, and that is exactly what the program does: it tries to recover deleted files on, for example, the hard drive or memory card of a digital camera or MP3 player. Recuva is free for both private and commercial use and works with all versions of Windows, except Windows NT. Among other things, this release improves reliability when scanning a disk in FAT32 format and improves memory usage in 64-bit environments. The full changelog of this release looks like this:
