Piriform, the name behind the well-known cleaning tool Crap Cleaner, has released a new beta release of Recuva today. Recuva is an alternative spelling for the English word ‘Recover’, which is exactly what the program does; trying to retrieve files that have been deleted from the computer, but also from, for example, the memory card of digital cameras or an MP3 player. The program works with all versions of Windows, except Windows NT. The following changes and improvements have been made in this version:
