Piriform, the name behind the popular cleaning tool Crap Cleaner, has released a new beta release of Recuva. Recuva is an alternate spelling for the English word ‘Recover’, which is exactly what the program does; trying to retrieve files that have been deleted from the computer, but also from digital camera memory cards or an MP3 player, for example. The program can handle all versions of Windows, with the exception of Windows NT. In this release, the part that traces errors has been completely rewritten and several bugs have been fixed. • Fixed bug that caused the ‘Date Modified’ data to disappear when searching
• Renamed ‘Date Modified’ to ‘Last Modified’

• Fixed bug that caused the application to close on win2k server
