Download Reaper 1.822

Reaper is a comprehensive audio recording and editing program that was conceived and developed some time ago by Justin Frankel, the man behind the media player Winamp. An overview of what exactly Reaper has to offer is described on this page. Since yesterday a new version of Reaper can be downloaded from the site. This time it concerns version 1.822, which can be seen as a maintenance release. This release features the following changes:

• options (prefs/Recording) to set what info goes in new filenames for recording
• save as with copy/move will use any relative project paths for media
• ReaVerb: vastly faster handling of sparse impulses (especially at smaller FFT sizes)
