Download Rainmeter 2.3 r1182 beta

The second beta release of version 2.3 of Rainmeter has been released. This program can display all kinds of useful and less useful information on the desktop in real time, such as free hard drive space, network activity and whether there is new email. Functional applets can also be used to, for example, make notes or send tweets. New in version 2.3 is the framework with which the plugins are created. This includes improved performance and new functionality, such as dynamic variables. In this release we find a new translation and a handful of bug fixes.

Fixed:

• !SetOptionGroup bang: Didn’t work with measures.
• !DeactivateConfig bang: Didn’t work without (Config) parameter.
• Plugin measure: C# plugins didn’t work on 32bit Windows 7 in some cases.
• CoreTemp plugin: CoreTempType didn’t work (always returned Temperature).
• NowPlaying plugin: PlayerType=COVER did not work when PlayerName was changed with !SetOption/!SetVariable.
• About dialog: Dialog not updated when a skin is closed.
