Download Rainmeter 2.2 r1084 beta

A new beta release of version 2.2 of Rainmeter has been released. This program can display all kinds of useful and less useful information on the desktop in real time, such as free hard drive space, network activity and whether there is new email. Functional applets can also be used to, for example, make notes or send tweets. New in version 2.2 is, among other things, that the application can be used in different languages. From this version, the downloads are digitally signed and there is a new plugin that can detect whether a certain process or program is running.

Changes in Rainmeter 2.2 r1084 beta

• Rainmeter executables are now digitally signed to prevent changes by malware or other 3rd parties, and to eliminate many if not most “false positives” when scanned by some antivirus applications. The certificate information can be viewed by right clicking any Rainmeter executable (the installer, Rainmeter.exe, Rainmeter.dll, SkinInstaller.exe) and selecting “Properties / Digital Signatures”.
• a new plugin, Processhas been added to Rainmeter.
