Download PowerArchiver 2011 12.12.03

ConeXware has released an update for PowerArchiver 2011. This archiver can handle common archive types, such as zip, 7z, cab, lha tar, gzip, bzip2, rar, arj, arc and ace. In addition, it can read CD and DVD images such as iso, bin, img and nrg. PowerArchiver is available in a standard, a professional and a toolbox edition, with prices ranging from 20 to 45 euros.

The standard version gives you a comprehensive archiving program. Professional adds, among other things, a backup function, an Outlook plug-in and the ability to create ISO files. Finally, the Toolbox edition comes with a one-year license for BitDefender 2011 Internet Security, can burn optical discs, can create virtual disk drives, and is an sftp client. In version 12.12.03 we find small improvements.

PowerArchiver 2011 12.12.03 Changes:

• Improved rename box – Consistent size between different dialogues, F2 now activates rename file inside archive dialogue.
• Improved Windows 8 support – Small improvements for Windows 8 Consumer Preview support.
• Modern interface and backup option – Modern interface will now allow backup for Professional users.
• Better Unicode compatibility with PAOP – Added improved Unicode compatibility for interaction with PAOP for new PAOP release 2.20.05.
