Download PowerArchiver 2004 9.0 beta 2

A week after the first beta release of the upcoming PowerArchiver 9.0 release, a second one has now been released. This program can use different compression methods to pack and unpack files. Support for all common formats is provided, including zip, cab, lha, tar, rar, arj, gz, and bzip2 files. Encryption can also be applied using Blowfish, DES, Triple DES and AES algorithms and the program has an internal viewer for various images. What exactly has changed in beta 2 is not entirely clear, but in the support forum the following is written about this release:

This is stable and very usable beta release of PowerArchiver 9.0. We plan to have a final release within next 2 weeks. We have fixed mostly everything people have reported for BETA 1 so please check if your issue if fixed, if not – report it in our Tech support forums.
