With Power2Go 5.5 Next-Gen, CyberLink claims to be the first burning program that can handle both HD DVD and Blu-ray media. The program also supports the full range of current media, namely CD-R/RW, DVD-R/RW, DVD+R/RW, DVD-RAM, dual layer DVD-R and DVD+R, BD-R, BD-RE , HD-DVD-RAM, and HD-DVD-R. In addition, Power2Go contains tools to edit videos and photos and files can be saved securely by means of a password and 128bit encryption. CyberLink has not released a changelog, but the main advancements over version 5.0 are support for HD-DVD media and data encryption.
