Download Pinnacle Studio 9.4.3.61b beta

Pinnacle Systems has released a new beta release of the Pinnacle Studio 9 video editing program. The update has been given version number 9.4.3.61b beta and must be installed as an update on at least version 9.3.x or higher. In addition, QuickTime 6 must already be installed on the system. Pinnacle notes that the changes are only indications and may not work as stated. Below are the changes since the last entry in the junk tracker:

Studio 9.4.3.61b BETA includes the following fixes to Studio 9.4.3.60

• Studio no longer hangs on hyperthreading systems when switching between full-screen and standard preview
• Fixed problems outputting with DVC150b and Moviebox USB
• Overlay image transparency in Picture in Picture no longer appears washed out
• Fixed problem with DC10+ scene detection being off by two frames

Studio 9.4.3.60 BETA includes the following fixes to Studio 9.4.3.56

• Fixed A/V sync issues with imported DVD material
• Fixed problems with imported AC-3 audio
• Fixed interlacing problem with HFX transitions on DV output
• Improved editing performance and responsiveness
• Fixed jittery output of some MPEG files with Moviebox DV
• Fixed problem with mixed MPEG types hanging DVD playback after burning
