Download Pinnacle Studio 9.4.0.26b beta

The developers of Pinnacle Systems have prepared a new update for their Pinnacle Studio 9. It is a beta version with the designation 9.4.0.26b that can only be installed on version 9.4.0.23c or on version 9.4.0.25. The program allows you to edit your own home video, encode it to another format and/or burn it to DVD or CD. The changelog since the last entry in the junk tracker looks like this:

Studio 9.4.0.26b BETA includes the following fixes to Studio 9.4.0.25 (This is a specification only, improvements may not operate as intended)

• No longer receive “An error has occurred…” message when rendering Divx or MPEG-4 files
• PAL and SECAM capture now works for DVC150b and DVC120
• Long renders to Divx will no longer fail or crash
• PAL is no longer disabled for users that originally had PAL enabled
• Added a folder icon to ImportDVD dialog to select Import ‘TO’ folder
• Can now playback video clips with “IMA ADPCM” Audio format
• Added MPA audio to the list of supported audio codecs for export to DivX AVI
• Enhanced preview playback of Divx clips rendered by Studio
• Fixed field reversal problem observed with DivX encoded AVI files on hardware players
• DVC150b no longer loses preview or is unable to capture after changing MPEG quality setting”

Studio 9.4.0.25 BETA includes the following fixes to Studio 9.4.0.23c (This is a specification only, improvements may not operate as intended)

• Improved preview playback with discrete 5.1 audio (no longer stops after ~90 seconds)
• Now able to render Divx file created by Studio from DV file, back into DV format
• Studio no longer crashes when making SmartMovie with SmartSound clip that exceeds the duration of the video track
• Can now cut and paste multiple clips from Album to Timeline or Storyboard using standard shortcut keys
• Divx files no longer crash Windows Media Player
• Previewing in DVD emulation no longer stops playback at the end of a menu
• Minor fixes to progressive encoding user interface
• Fixed preview problems with Moviebox USB
• Studio no longer crashes when rendering AVI or Mpeg 1,2,4 to Make Mpeg > Mpeg-4.
