A system for easily creating and maintaining clear and comprehensive FAQs is phpMyFAQ. The system runs on an environment with at least PHP 4.3.3, a database (such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite, Firebird or Oracle) and a web server such as Apache or IIS. The list of features reports, among other things, that it can use an ldap server to check user rights. The developers have released version 2.0.1 with the following announcement:

The phpMyFAQ Team would like to announce the availability of phpMyFAQ 2.0.1, the “right to freedom of assembly and association” release. This release fixes the broken update script, some bugs with the basic permission level, PHP segfaults with Zend Optimizer extension, and updates the Japanese translation. We also fixed many minor bugs.
