The developers of phpAdsNew recently released the second release candidate of version 2.0.5. RC2 is a development release and is not recommended for use on a production server. by on this link By clicking, the new-fangled version can be downloaded from various mirror servers. phpAdsNew is an open source banner system for managing banners and advertisements within a site. The program contains various options to make statistics of the advertisements that have been run, to run certain banners on a part of the site and to focus campaigns on specific targets. phpAdsNew needs an environment with MySQL and PHP in combination with Apache or Microsoft IIS. I am happy to announce the second release candidate of phpAdsNew v2.0.5! This release mainly adds the possibility to display transparent Flash banners and fixes the two features added in RC1:

• a workaround to avoid exceeding the 20 cookie limit;
• full support to all MaxMind database types.

Of course the release also contains some other bug fixes: see the change log for more details. If you are experiencing the cookie limit problem, please upgrade and test the workaround by enabling it in delivery settings.
