Download phpAdsNew 2.0.3

The phpAdsNew development team recently released version 2.0.3. This program is a fully open-source ad server with many different functions. Such as supporting different formats of ads, targeting options so that certain ads are only shown on certain pages and extensive statistics that can also be supplied as an import file. An environment with PHP and a MySQL database is required to use phpAdsNew. The release notes look like this:

I am happy to announce the release of v2.0.3 of phpAdsNew!

This release contains some fixes for bugs that were found in the recent 2.0.2 release. The most important thing is that now Flash banners work again on Microsoft Internet Explorer.

Note: Users running 2.0 should regenerate their JS remote invocation codes. The same is true for users which upgraded to 2.0.2 and didn’t upgrade their invocation codes.

Misc bug fixes:

• Content-disposition header was wrong in generated reports, resulting in a mangled filename – bug #1067963
• There was an error in the queries used when generating reports with compact stats enabled
• Fixed incompatibilites with IE and Flash banners caused by post-Eolas handling
• Fixed problems with IE when using JS invocation with non-latin status/alt texts
• Fixed problems with settings pages not displayed when using russian-cp1251 translation
• Added default charset (iso-8859-1) into english/default.lang.php that is always included
• Added proper header encoding for outgoing emails, according to RFC 2047 – bug #1037033
• Language limitation was only checking against the first language accepted – bug #1098001
• Client path wasn’t stripped from uploaded banner filenames under some circumstances – bug #1118544
