Raxco Software has released version 12 of its PerfectDisk defragmenter. This program reorganizes the location and order of the files on the hard drive so that they can be accessed faster. This results in faster program launches and faster PC boot times. PerfectDisk is suitable for Windows XP and higher, for both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions.   PerfectDisk 12 automatically detects drive types, including fixed drives, removable (Flash, USB, Firewire) drives and SSD drives and will display unique icons in the Defragmentation tab for that drive. In addition, PerfectDisk automatically configures the best optimization method for the detected drive.
