Download PerfectDisk 11 build 185

Raxco Software has released the fifth update for version 11 of its successful defragmenter PerfectDisk. This program reorganizes the location and order of the files on the hard drive so that they can be accessed faster. This results in faster program launches and faster PC boot times. PerfectDisk is suitable for Windows 2000 and higher, for both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions. An evaluation version is available on this page are downloaded. Client fixes:

• There was an issue where a critical section of code was not locked correctly. This could result in PDEngine or PDAgent crashing. This has been resolved.
• Changes were made to make PerfectDisk 11 compatible with the new version of PerfectDisk Enterprise Console (version 12.0)

console fixes:

• A change was made to the synchronization code. There was a bug which would cause synchronization to fail if the PDConsole service was running for more than 49 days.
• Uninstall bug was fixed. Previous version would display a message box indicating the vSphere plug-in could not be removed. This was on machines where the vSphere plug-in was not even installed.
