PenguinTV is not an ordinary program that reads RSS feeds, but has been specially developed for popular podcasts and video blogs. The interface clearly shows which messages have already been viewed or listened to and what is currently being downloaded. PenguinTV uses a media player already installed on the system to play the media files. The program has onboard support for Unicode, BitTorrent-enclosed files and OPML files. The program is written in Python and therefore needs the various Python libraries. The developer has released PenguinTV 3.0 with the following changes:
