Download PeaZip 2.6 Beta

The first beta release of version 2.6 of PeaZip was released on Monday. PeaZip is an open source archiving program that tries to differentiate itself from the competition by specializing in security. Encrypting data is therefore the spearhead of our own pea format. The program can create 7z, bz2, gz, paq/lpaq, pea, quad, tar, upx and zip files and extract various file formats including ace, arj, cab, deb, iso, lha , rar and rpm. Below is what has changed in this release:

• Major GUI update
  • Multi-functional bar to quickly accessto bookmarks and history, enter password, create keyfiles etc
  • Navigation menu for quickly browse (or extract to) filesystem, bookmarks and history
  • New icon theme
• 84 file extensions supported
