Download PassMark PerformanceTest 7.0 build 1005

PassMark Software, known for BurnInTest and WirelessMon, among others, today released version 7.0 build 1005 of PassMark PerformanceTest. This program allows a computer running Windows 2000 or higher to be subjected to a series of benchmarks. In 28 tests, the six main groups, namely the processor, 2D graphics, 3D graphics, hard disk, memory and CD/DVD drive, are tested as objectively as possible and graphically compared to a number of other systems. Below you can see the changes that have been made to this program since the previous entry in the Meuktracker:

Changes in version 7.0 build 1005:

• Fixed DX10 test to work on video cards that do not support 8x AA
• Changed Passmark Rating calculation so that CD scores have a smaller impact and can only ever increase the overall score

Changes in version 7.0 build 1004:

• Fixed a bug that allowed uploading of incomplete baselines.
• Fixed a bug that was causing some types of old AMD CPUs to get extremely high scores.
