Download PassMark BurnInTest 6.0 build 1011

PassMark Software released version 6.0 build 1011 of BurnInTest on Wednesday. This program puts the various parts of the computer to work in order to test the reliability and stability of the system. The software is available in a standard version and in a professional edition, the latter of which is available in both a 32-bit and a 64-bit version. The professional edition is able to test more hardware, including tape drives and the parallel and serial ports and the USB ports. In addition, the memory tests in the Pro version are more extensive. Changes in version 6.0 build 1011:

• CPU SSE4a test correction for an unreleased AMD CPU.
• Support for the upcoming PassMark Blu-ray test disc.
• Minor improvements to the memory and disk tests for low memory scenarios.
• Minor improvements for Windows 7.
• Minor system information improvements.
• A new error message introduced for XP/W2003 IMAPI2 problems for the optical disk burn test.
• Minor help file changes.
• Increased level 2 activity trace logging.

Changes in version 6.0 build 1010 rev2:

• Correction to warning when starting the Network test.
• Minor help file changes.
