Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo has an extensive set of possibilities to manage and edit images and photos. The novice user has also been thought of, the Learning Center takes you by the hand and helps you perform professional-looking edits. • Images and folders added using applications other than Corel® Paint Shop Pro® Photo (such as Windows® Explorer or My Computer) now display correctly in Organizer.
• When using Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2 on a computer with multiple internal hard drives, Organize now allows you to properly browse images and folders on drives other than the drive where the application is installed.
• The application will stop responding when you merge layers and one or more of the layers contains transparency or one of the layers has transparency locked.
• RAW images from Olympus® E-500 cameras can now be opened correctly.
• Thumbnails of RAW images taken with Sony® A100 cameras now display correctly in Organizer.
• When you play new scripts created with this version of Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo, no warning is displayed.
• The application does not stop responding when you add layer styles to new images or large JPG images.
• In the Express Lab, the Next and Previous buttons now work correctly when you used the Save As command to save an image to a new location.
• After you modify an image in Express Lab using the Smart Photo Fix command, the application does not stop responding when you click the Next or Previous button or use the Crop tool.
• When you choose the Large Icons option on the Options tab of the Customize dialog box, the icons now display correctly in Print Layout mode.
• Layers are no longer merged when you save a PspImage file in version X2 with version X or version XI compatibility.
• When the Reflection layer style is applied to an image, the reflection baseline no longer shifts when the image is cropped.
• When the Reflection layer style is applied to an image, the reflection baseline no longer shifts when the image is cropped.
• Under Windows Vista®, the Screen Capture Area option now works correctly.
• On Asian operating systems, the Corel® Photo Downloader now properly deletes images after downloading when that option is chosen.
• Extra characters (such as the letter “A”) no longer appear before a symbol (such as the copyright symbol) when you run a script to add a symbol to an image.
• When both version XI and X2 are installed on a computer, the application does not stop working when the message “Cache is being updated” appears on the home screen.
