Download Paint.NET 4.2.7

Version 4.2.7 of Paint.NET has been released. This drawing and image editing program bridges the gap between the Paint supplied with Windows and expensive but very extensive programs such as Adobe Photoshop and Corel Photo Paint. Today, the program is also available via the Windows Store offered, although a small fee is charged for that version. This release fixes an issue that could cause the program to hang.

Fixed:

• Crash at startup (FileLoadException) due to 1) the stub for System.Runtime.dll not being updated, and 2) the rigid version binding policy that prevented the older version from working in its stead (which would’ve been fine in this case ).
